I followed the instruction on how to extend the database in order to
get task earned values listed on the solution starters, from MS Office
2003 SDK.
However, for some of the projects I had prior the database extension I
am not able to get BCWP for TaskUniqueID = 0 (all I want to get is
earned values at the project level, task 0). I checked for the project
to be baselined, have resources assigned, and percent complete
updated.
Also, for the projects I am able to get BCWP, some of them do not show
the correct ACWP or BCWS values. I opened MSP, changed the status
date, say to 10/31/2004, and compared those values in MSP to the
values displayed in MSP_VIEW_PROJ_TASK_TP_BY_DAY table for the same
date and they do not match some times. This is after I divide by 100
the ACWP and BCWS values in the database.
I'd like to know if anyone else has tried getting earned values from
the MSP_VIEW_PROJ_TASK_TP_BY_DAY table and if those values matched
that of MS Project.
