Unable to Import old project to Project Server 2003

I am trying to import a project, having 526 tasks, created using Project 2002 to project server 2003. The moment I click on the last import step, it open resource global but nothing happens after this. I am able to publish other projects successfully.

Following additional info:
1. I can't import either from project prof 2002 SP1 or 2003
2. There is no error log on the server
3. Even the spooler's status is "idle"
4. Project has some Actual Work data but this created no prob for other projects.

Any clues?

try doing a "save as" instead of an import
