Unable to initialize scanner in MS Office Document Scanning

I am using a hp psc 1210 all in one.
The scanner works ok except in MS Office Document Scanning.
The message is:UnableMS Office Document Scanning to initialize scanner in.
I am using two drives:psc 1200 series 1.0 (32-32)
WIA-hp psc 1200 series 1.0 (32-32)

can anyone help?
