unable to install MS Project 2002

I'm using MS Project 98 and would like to upgrade to MS
Project 2002. However, setup can't continue due to
existing version of MS Project 98. I tried to uninstall
the previous version due to setup initialization error.
Please help. Thanks.

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

Try re-installing Project 98 and then un-installing. If that doesn't work,
you'll have to get in touch with Microsoft Support.
