Unable to Load an Autocad 2000 or R14 Version with Visio 2007

I have been attempting to load an AutoCad file which has been saved in
AutoCad 2000 or R14. A couple of years ago when I was running on Visio 2003
and my architect was running an earlier version of AutoCad conversions were
easy.

Now, my architect has upgraded his system and I am running Visio
Professional 2007. I have had them save the files in older versions of
AutoCad, but I am still unable to import the file.

If this is still a problem, can you share more details about what happens
when you try to import the Autocad file?
Is it a 2-D drawing or 3-D? Do you get errors, or in what way does it fail?
