Unable to login using Microsoft Office Project 2003 where as Web Access is working fine.

Every time i try to login using Microsoft Office Project 2003 ,I'm
prompted for "Project Server Account"( I have two SQL Server in the
network),then I'm prompted for project server security login(where i
enter login information which lets me through for Web access) i get
following "Microsoft SQL Server Login" message :
Connection failed:
SQLState:'01000'
SQL Server error :2
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB]ConnectionOpen(Connect()).
Connection failed:
SQLState:'08001'
SQL Server Error: 17
[Microsoft][ODBC SQLServer Driver][DBNETLIB]SQL Server does not exist
or access denied.

SQL Server loging prompt,where as Web Access is working fine.


It will be great help to me if some one can put some light on the
matter.
