Unable to logon to SMTP

We have recently installed SBS 2000 and configured the
Exchange 2000 Server for local andas an SMTP & POP3
Server Internet mail.

Then, I configured the Outlook Client, first with the two
POP3 account (one is [email protected] and the other
[email protected]), then I logged off, and added the
Exchange Account using the Mail Icon on the Control
Panel ...

When I try to Send/Receive, I get the message "The
connection to the Server was interrupted report error
0x800CCC0F ... When I try to use the Test Account button
under the Outlook 2002 Acoounts, I get the error Unable
to logon to outgoing mail server (SMTP) and that applies
for both Internet Emails whereas the [email protected]
works fine ...

Appreciate your advice ...
