My operating system is Windows 95. Word version is Word
2000. Word always worked fine. Recently, I am unable to
open any Word document. The following message appears
when I run ScanDisk (assuming this is the cause of the
problem). The choices given are: delete the file, ignore
the error or have it put into a new folder. I picked the
last option but it appears specific action is required to
do this:
C:\WINDOWS\APPLIC~1\MACROM~1\FLASHP~1
\MACROM~1.COM\SUPPORT\FLASHP~1 folder
cannot be opened in MS-DOS mode because its MS-DOS name,
including the names of any folder sit is in, is longer
than 66 characters.
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Aldo
