Maybe you should have checked exactly what you were downloading, then you
wouldn't have wasted your time. The only available 'trail' [/sic/] version
available for download is Office Standard and had you clicked the link in
the first column of the download table (you do realise that blue underlined
words are links, don't you) you would have seen, slap, bang, right in the
middle of the page: -

" Applications Included: Word 2003, Excel 2003, Outlook 2003, PowerPoint
2003"

The version that contains Publisher is Office Professional, which isn't
available for download (neither is Publisher standalone for that matter).

Either have your sender convert to PDF, or order the Publisher, or Office
Professional, trial.
