Unable to open address book

Every time I try to open my address book in microsoft
outlook, The computer says "the address book has been
either deleted or you dont have permission to open the
address book. I have the proper permissions. I dont know
how to correct the problem. I tried to re-create the
address book , but to no avail. Please help me. Sincerely
