Unable to open any document

I am unable to open any document. I get a message that
states

"Document file name unavailable.

Then

Then it goes through a series of questions
regarding "CHANGE OF TEMPLATES"
changing/saving/ etc.


I can't load a single doc file. The recovery does not
work.

Help???? Miichael
