Unable to open archive in another computer or from CD

I have archived my outlook files to transfer them to another computer. It
gives me an error of "File access denied". I am able to open the same
archived files from the current computer following the File Open Outlook Data
files menu.

I am using Windows XP along with Outlook 2003.

How did you put them on the CD? Did you copy them from the CD to the second
HD and remove the read-only attribute?
