Unable to open Bus Contact Folder after customizing

I was using customize view tool to add "email" to the fields that are shown.
Once I clicked OK, the contact field went blank. When I tried to reopen the
Business Contact folder I got the following message in the contact screen
"Unable to display the folder. ORDER BY items must appear in the select list
if SELECT DISTINCT is specified. IRIS: 1005 ContactIMAPIView"
How do I fix this as I have many contacts I don't want to lose!
