Back in the good ole days (Access 2003) when someone had an item in a
databse opened in design view anothe user trying to open the database
would get:
"The database has been placed in a state by user..."
Now that we have upgraded some users to Access 2007 it behaves
differently. If anyone has a database in design mode our 2003 users
still get the message about being placed in a state but the 2007 users
get nothing. They double-click to open and Access doesn't open and
they get no message.
What gives?
