Unable to open links in Email

Using Vista - Office 2007. Suddenly unable to open email links. Receive
message "This operation has been canceled due to restriction in effect on
this computer?

How can I correct.

The message when clicking on the link is "This operation has been canceled
due to restrictions in effect on this computer."

I have reset Internet Explorer as follows: Tools - Internet Options -
Programs - Reset Web Settings

But this did not change the response message.

But did you try the other things also mentioned in the article Gordon cited,
like getting the registry key from another PC or using Windows to reset the
default web browser?
