Unable to Open Outlook 2003 .msg files with Outlook 2002

Bill

I have discovered that if I drag an Outlook 2003 message out of a mailbox
folder onto a file system folder I cannot open this msg file with Outlook
2002. I get an error message telling me that the message was created with a
later version of Outlook (2003) and that I can go bite my bum. What's the
deal? Is there a work-around or do I have to shell out for Oultook
upgrades? Cheers, Bill.

The message is probably saved in Unicode format so OL2002 and below can't
read it.

it sounds like it should take care of it.
