Unable to open Visio 2003 diagram in Visio for Enterprise Architec

Why can't I use Visio for Enterprise Architect to open a .vsd file that was
created with Visio 2003? It indicates:

"This file cannot be opened because it was created with a newer or
unrecognized version of Visio."

Sounds like you have VEA 2003. This was released before Visio 2003 and
contains Visio 2002. The file format changed, so you can not open a Visio
2003 drawing in Visio 2002 if you do not first save the drawing in Visio 2002
format.

VEA 2005 has been released and contains Visio 2003
