Hi.
I've recently gotten my computer upgraded from Windows 95
to Windows 98. The problem is, my documents are now on the
Windows 98 Wordpad, and not on my Word 97. When I click on
"my documents"(a single folder on my desktop)they try to
open in Word 97, but I get a dialogue box that says the
program has performed an illegal function and will be shut
down. That indeed happens. Curiously, at the top of the
dialogue box, it says "Windword" which is something I've
never seen before. Is there anything I can do? I've tried
reinstalling Word 97, and I've tried what I know to
transfer the documents. Nothing works. I'd appreciate any
help anybody out there could give me. Thanks.
