I am trying to set up a discussion group to form part of
our home page. Currently using FrontPage 2002. I used
the wizard to compile the discussion page but when testing
POST function, the following message appears on another
page "FrontPage Run-Time Component Page" 'You have
submitted a form or followed a link to a page that
requires a web server and the FrontPage Server Extensions
to function properly. This form or other FrontPage
component will work correctly if you publish this web to a
web server that has a FrontPage Server Extensions
installed.' "Click the <Back> arrow to return to the
previous page."

What does this mean?

Any assistance greatly appreciated.

It means that you must publish the web to server that has the FP2002
extension via FP's http mode (http://www.yourdomainname.com) in order for
the discussion web to work.

It means exactly what it says: you need the frontpage extensions enabled and
installed on your server .
