Unable to print a Cash Flow Report?

J

Jules

Despite previously being able to do this, I now receive the message "Print
area of the page is too small" every time I try and run the Cash Flow Report.
I have adjusted the page scaling, 'fit to page' options and reduced the
margins to zero, but still no joy.

Has anyone else had this problem and is there a solution?

Hello Jules,

Is it possible that you have scaled the report so small (trying to fit
to too few pages) that it cannot be printed? Try setting the scaling
back to 100% check print preview and then progressively shrink it down.
If you were able to do this in the past but now cannot - I would assume
you have added additional details that have increased the amount of data
trying to print on the same number of pages.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Unfortunately, I can't even get the report to preview, so it's difficult to
work out quite what to do. You are correct in one respect though - project
has increased timescale, so the number of 'months' (appearing as columns in
the report) has increased, but only by a couple.

Any other ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks.

If you are unable to even preview the report then yes, changing the page
setup options are impossible to get to as they are set on a report by
report basis.

Have you tried editing the report to show larger time measurements (set
the columns to quarters or half years) to at least be able to get into
the page setup options and then re-set the scaling?

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
