Unable to print landscape

we have a number of hp officejet T65 printers attached by
parallel cable to XP pc's. Can print landscape ok from
these . Printers are shared. Pc's printing via the
network (XP )will not print in landscape from Word but
Excel is ok.I was able to print ok via the network from an
NT pc. Drivers have been re- installed.
