Tmobile dash on WM6 with WMO6.1 Using OneNote 2007 on Win XP

have installed OneNote Mobile and had to do a hard reset. since then been
unable to sync with one note. have done another unistall and when i try to
re-install i get the following error

Cannot copy the file. Make sure that the mobile device is connected, that
the mobile device has space available and is not write protected, and that
all setup programs on the device have been completed.

the phone is connected to computer, plenty of space, not write protected and
as far as i can tell all setup programs complete.

have rebooted the computer and the phone same result.

i have searched phone and deleted all old onenote files form previous
install that i could find.

kinda stuck now.

Not sure if my info will help, but had some issues syncing OneNote with WM 5.
Here's what I did:

1) Removed all OneNote Software from Phone
2) Removed all other connection software besides ActiveSync
3) Removed all ActiveSync Connections (Not the software - Just the
connection)
3) Uninstalled and reinstalled ActiveSync on PC
4) Backed up Outlook.
5) Plugged phone in - ActiveSync pops up with new connection.
6) When selecting folders to sync, only select the basic folders - no
media, calendar, onenote, etc. just your contacts and e-mail
7) Open OneNote and install the mobile version (there is a mobile folder
for the OneNote sync)
8) Try syncing again - it should sync the notes.

Like I said - I don't know if this will help, but this worked for me. It
seemed to me, but not sure, that it would always hang when syncing all items
at once the first time. If I did it one at a time, it worked instantly.

Hope it helps and good luck!
