I have a client who is using a SBS2000 server and has exchange configured for
mail. Most of the users are using outlook 2000 or 2002. There are however 3
new machines with outlook 2003. The problem they are having is the 3
machines with outlook 2003 have all experience problems reading new emails.
It has been working fine up until about a month or so ago when they weren't
able to read new emails coming. They weren't even aware they were receiving
new mail. When you opened up there exchange mailbox using outlook 2000 they
could view all mail, however discovered that there were some corrupt emails.
Once you deleted the corrupt emails it would start working again in outlook
2003. They exchange experience the problem one after the other. The first
two I was able to resolve with a combination of reinstalling outlook,
recreating the profiles and updating outlook. I have not however been able
to resolve the 3rd persons email problem which is identical to the other 2.
Any help as to why it's happening and how to fix it would be appreciated.
