Hi. Earlier today, i was sending a lot of photos and suddenly one of the emails in the outbox disappeared. it says there is 1 in the outbox, but i can not delete, send, move or see it. subsequently, i began to get a "database is damaged" note yet i can still send/receive mail. i have tried to rebuild my database 3 times and it consistently hangs at step 5 of 5. i did confirm i have the disk space but i am at a loss. can anyone help?

Hold down Shift key when launching Entourage. This will disable schedules.
Turn off the Preview Pane. You should now be able to see the Outbox to see
if the message is still there.

Exactly how did you confirm you had disk space?

What size is your database?

What size is your hard drive and how much free space do you have? (use
Activity Monitor to find info)

Does Entourage still open?

Thanks so much for replying. Last night, I was successful in rebuilding my database so as of today, things look good. Thank you again!

Good news. Be sure you make a backup. Rebuilt databases are not always
"golden."
