Unable to register office 2008

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
Processor: Intel

I have office 2008, and when I try to register, I reach the mactopia site, and then there is just a green ball circling.
How do I register?
Is there a way to contact a human to do it?

It's a waste of your time unless you want to sign up for their newsletter.
It's not activation.

I am having the same problem on Mac OSX 10.5
Diane Ross's reply below confirms my suspicion that Microsoft has dropped
the ball again, abeit in a small way. I'm happy to have installed Office
2008 on my Mac and as long as it works I'm not going to worry about
"registration".
