Strange one this
I have a Master Plan - containing all the companies projects. I am trying to
remove one of these plans contained within.
Even though it lets me delete the Task, and save it - when I re-open the
Master Plan the project still exists - tried several times ! This is not the
first occurance tried last week and failed - had to create a new Master Plan
from scratch.
Any ideas?

Hi Burnley,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

Which version of Project are you using and it's Service Pack? Are you using
Project Server? Please describe the process you use to create a master
plan. Are you using a resource pool?

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)

MS Project 2007 - SP2 and not on Project Server.
We are using a Resource Pool
Master Plan consists on simply inserting Projects

Sorted - In fact user error.
One of my project managers had inserted a project within a project - so I
tried to delete it - but I never save individual projects from the master
plan. hence I effectivily cancelled my changes everytime i was promted to
save them.

Sorry for wasting your time.
