Using Access 2003 with XP. My database is used for compiling statistics for
client billing. I import data into the database and then manually key in
additional data into a total of 3 databases. I then have several reports
that give extract the data for actual billing.
Before I do any work in my dbf, I always make a back up and then run compact
& repair. Next, I imported files into the database, keyed in additional info
and then last step tried to run my reports. There is no response when you
double click on them. No waiting icon, no error message, absolutely no
response. I am unable to even open them in design view. I tried to create a
new report using the report wizard and do get an error message indicating
"wizard unable to create your report".
Other staff can run these from their machines. I started experiencing other
issues/problems on mine and am using a different machine that my settings &
files were transferred to. Initially it worked but next day no luch.
Any thoughts or ideas as to what could be going on would be greatly
appreciated and most helpful.
