Unable to Save Word Document

Dave Harty

Have a document that was created in Word 2000, have been
able to edit/make changes all day. All of a sudden, Word
can no longer save the document. (document is only 85KB in
size) When trying to save, error message pops up with the
following, 'WINWORD.exe has generated errors and will be
closed by windows. You will need to restart the program.
An error log is being generated' (NO error logs are
generated either!)
Can not save with a new name as a new document or save to
a different location either. Office 2000 Professional is
up-to-date with the latest service pack (3) and client
workstation is up-to-date as well, Win 2000 Pro service
pack 4. Other word documents work just fine. This has
happened before. And ideas? This is very annoying.

Thanks,

If you have Norton AV< try disabling the Office Plug-in under Options
settings in NAV.
