Unable to see screen shots sent inside attached docs

I have a user who recieves from his supervisor Excel docs with screen shots
pasted inside of them. However, he is unable to see the screen shots. Is
there a setting some where that would allow him to view this particular
graphic format? I know that sometimes people are unable to open certain
graphics or drawing files while other recipients can. What us the solutions
to this?
