Unable to send attachments

Hi,

I have been trying to attach a file (any type) to my email
and send it. It gets sent and when the recipient receives,
he claims there are no attachment. I checked my sent
folder, the attachment is attached and was sent. I sent
the mail to mysel and the attachment was right there.

Please explain what i should do to solve this problem.

I assume you are using Outlook and not Outlook Express...is the recipient of
these e-mails also using Outlook? What format are you sending the messages
in (HTML, Plain Text, Rich Text) and are you using Word as your e-mail
editor?

I am having the exact same issue since upgrading my O/S
from ME to XP a week ago. Whether I am attaching photos
or documents, the attachments sometimes are received and
sometimes not. Mostly not. It's very random.

I use Outlook 2000 and the format is set at Rich Text from
when I was using ME. I have never encountered this
attachments problem until the upgrade. Sorry, I'm not
sure what my e-mail editor is.....I would assume it is
Word, however.
