User is using Outlook 2002 client in an Exchange mail
server. Client O/S is XP. PC was recently re-imaged and
user's PST file from a W2K PC was transferred over to this
XP machine. Everytime the user chose "Offline" to open
Outlook an error msg shows "Unable to start processing
services. The information store could not be opened". This
error does not occur when user connects to network. In
both cases personal folder is still accessible. How do I
remove the error msg? I already tried the following: 1)
removed user's Outlook profile and recreate it, 2)
remove/re-install Office suite, and 3)removed user's
profile in XP, then removed/re-installed Office XP then
recreated user's outlook profile. The problem could be in
the PST file or in the folder where it resides, but why is
it accessible?
