Unable to submit tasks updates using My Tasks

I have one PWA 2007 user who can view but not submit updates using My Tasks
on his machine either as his own account, or using my test user account. He
gets the very helpful error message "An unexpected error has occurred.
Troubleshoot issues with Windows Sharepoint Services."

He can both view and update his tasks on other peoples PC's so it likely
isn't anything to do with his setup on PWA.

Has anyone seen anything similar or have any suggestions as how to resolve
this (without getting a new PC...)?

hi,

did you try to clear the cache(browser) or u can try with restarting the
system..

Yes, we tried clearing caches, upgrading IE, downgrading IE, rebooting,
deleted IE add-ons etc all to no avail.
