I am using the 'paste-link' function to create a high level plan showing data
from various sub-plans in ProjectServer2003. It works fine except that when
the high level plan is opened on it's own it fails to update the linked
information.
The only way around it is to first open the sub-plans then opening the main
plan works and updates. The functionality is similar to making task
dependencies to external/server plans but that function works when opening a
single plan, similarly if the links are to plans saved to a c: drive (i.e.
outside of the server) again the links work ok.
Has anyone come across this? We are using SP1 but this doesn't appear to be
one of the SP2A fixes.
