Unable to view a slide show

Phil

Running powerpoint 2000 on a windows 2000 OS.

Everything is running fine until you want to view a
slideshow (hit f5 etc.) It then wont load up the slideshow-
a window down the bottom opens saying Powerpoint
Slideshow but it wont let you open it!

Any ideas?

Phil,

Is this something new, or has it always happened? If it is new, have you
installed recent service packs for either PowerPoint or Windows? Does the
slideshow option work if you use the File menu, or is it a global issue,
affecting all attempts to view?

Your slide show is running, it's just running on a non-existent monitor. Go
to Slide Show > Set up Show and change the display to Primary Monitor,
rather than Secondary Monitor.

It's been asked before and I use dual monitors on a daily basis on multiple
systems. I just know from experience that this is what's going on. :>))
