Situation: User is switching to a new machine.. Outlook XP is installed with
Windows XPâ?¦ this user can not see her inbox at all.. when Outlook first
opens it appear that no messages are in the in box, although it says 3 new
messages on the outlook bar. When the user goes to a sub folder they can see
those messages fine, but when they go back to the inbox. They get an error
that says unable to display folder.
What I have tried so far:
Detect and Repair Office
Uninstall and Reinstall Office
Completed all Office updates
Deleted Outlook Profile and recreated --
Deleted WIndows Profile and recreated -- When user's accout is recreated
problem still exists.. when another user logs in he/she can see their own
in-box.
Verified no filters are in place
Did a google and technet search no luck..
I did find a possible link to a solution on Experts-Exchange, but my free
memberhip is not enough to get into the premium section..
