MS Access 2000.
Have had this installed and working OK for a year or more.
A little time back I noticed that some of the Wizards
would no longer work, and on selecting the Tools drop-down
menu discovered that the "Add-Ins" option was greyed out.
The required Wizard files of varying sorts are there and
not corrupted; the problem seems to perhaps lie with the
Add-Ins being no longer available, and hence probably
excluding the use of the Wizards.
I have re-installed Office several times, but am reluctant
to totally remove/run the clean-up removal program, and
then re-install Office due to other problems which have
occurred in the past - and of course the time this
operation will take (including trying to remember which
installation options I wanted!).
The problem is hopefully with a program or control file
which has been deleted or corrupted (or a Registry entry
which has gone adrift somewhere?), and I am hoping that
someone can point me in the right direction to sort this
one out.
