Shy of removing the hyphen between the numbers and or buying a digital
signature or security certificate - how can you send a word/rtf/pdf file with
social security numbers as an attachment? Outlook blocks it every time.

Eh? Outlook doesn't know what's IN the attached file......

Outlook block it? Outlook only blocks TYPES of files.....

There's simply no way Outlook can know what is contained in a PDF file.
Outlook does not look inside attachments.

You're foolish to send SS numbers without encrypting them.

My way of telling the OP not to send or input his Social Ins No which can be very dangerous in the send and on the receiving side also
