Unchecking shared borders only removes it from one page

Richard

Hi,

I added Shared Borders to a four-page website. Then I read that shared
components is a superior way to achieve sharing content across pages.
So I unchecked that option in Design view, both when I had the home
page selected and when I had the site selected. But the shared border
was only removed from the home page. How can I remove the shared
borders from the other pages?

TIA,
Richard

Try this.
Open a page with a shared border. In Normal view, right clink the page
and select Shared borders. Select the radio for Apply to all pages, then
uncheck the borders you don't want.

Hi PC,

Thanks for the help. When I couldn't get this going over the weekend,
I studied more of "Using Microsoft Office Front Page 2003". I
discovered there that Shared Borders is now regarded as obsolete in
favor of Included Content, which has worked very well for me.

Nevertheless, I may persuade someone else to switch to Included
Content, so your advice will be very helpful.

Again, thanks for responding to my question.

Regards,
Richard
