I downloaded the cumulative security patch for windows 98
("q323759"). When I tried to install it, I got a message
to this effect: you need Internet Explorer Service Pack 1
to install this program. So, I downloaded the IE 5.5
Service Pack 1 ("q299618".) When I tried to install it,
the identical message popped up. What am I doing wrong?
I'm now desperate and hope that someone can help me.
