Uncommon Issue

Dear All,
I’m currently facing a big issue with the EPM and unfortunately it
seems not easy to solve. Despite having already a considerable
experience with this tool, another administrator and I haven’t been
able to successfully solve the issue.
One of the Users, who is a team member suddenly stopped having access
to the PWA and this seems to be related to the Sharepoint. This is
what we have already tested so far:
• We placed the User in the administrators’ group and removed him from
the team members’ group. However all administrators were able to
access but him.
• The User is able to login into the MS Project, open and publish
plans; he cannot only access the PWA and the Sharepoint, including the
workspace sites of the projects.
• I have given the User full control and Administration site
collection permissions in the Sharepoint, but even though he’s not
able to enter.
• Deleted the User from the site collections and added him again, but
no success
• Asked IT to reset the User at the AD (Active Directory ). Once
more, no success.

Each time I change his permissions, he “supposedly ” synchronizes with
the workspaces, but in the queue I get the following error message:
“User Synchronization for Project Web Access App Root Site and
Project WSS Workspaces” Error summary/areas:
Queue
GeneralQueueJobFailed
Error details:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-16"?>
<errinfo>
<general>
<class name="Queue">
<error id="26000" name="GeneralQueueJobFailed" uid="e27170ba-

GroupType="SynchronizeSingleUserMembershipInWss"
MessageType="SynchronizeSingleUserMembershipInWssMessage2"
MessageId="2" Stage="" />
</class>
</general>
</errinfo>

In the logs of the Sharepoint I didn’t manage to see any error. Please
help!!!!
Any idea how we may solve this? Is it possible that the user is
corrupted?
Is there any query I may run in the database of the Sharepoint or of
the Project to detect this issue?
Thank you very much in advance

Sorry not refer. This problem is related in EPM 2007.

Thanks

This is probably not the case, but if they're getting Access Denied in PWA,
take a look at the logon option in the top right of the page. Try logging
out and relogging in as the user. Sometimes the wrong credentials get stuck
on the PC. The same could be tested by perhaps logging in from a different
machine.

Hi Andrew,

Thanks, but it's not a problem with machine, (we test in 4) or with
relogging. IT's a big problem and I'm worried.

See if you can have the Administrator security template applied to the
security section of the Manage User>Edit User page for that User. It might
help.

Hi Kahuna, thanks for your help but unfortunately it's not the
solution. The problem is something related with sharepoint or whit
the permissions but in sharepoint.

IT Seems a little problem, but belive me, it's strange and causing a
big issue.

Thanks
