I need to underline part of the e-mail address and I don't have an underline

Why would you underline a string that parses out to an e-mail address?
Most e-mail clients do that already, including Outlook. The
recipient's e-mail client will see a URL that fits the mailto: URL
scheme and show it as underlined. You adding an underline could add
confusion; if their e-mail client doesn't automatically show the
underlining to indicate it is a clickable link, you adding an
underline might make the user wonder why they can't click on it.
