Underline Superscript

I'm creating a footer in Excel and I want to write the date April 25th with
the "th" superscripted and underlined. Every time I try though, the underline
just stays where it would normally go instead of directly under the
superscript, where I want it.

Somehow you have posted your Excel question to the Word discussion group. You
will probably have better luck if you post it to the Excel group.

If you create an underlined superscript in Word and paste or import it
into Excel, does it come out right? If not, maybe Excel simply can't
do it at all.
