underlining for blanks

C

Charlie

Need to make column(s) of blank spaces designated by
underlined spaces. How does one do it without leaving a
character such as a period at the end of the underlining?
Thanks

OR, just set up a tab -- use the Format / Tab -- then
choose the "# 4" (leader) option. It will create an
underscore UP TO where you place the tab.

OR, if you want SHORT blank lines -- use hard spaces (CTRL
+ SHIFT + SPACE), and then underscore those. (You need to
have "Tools / Options / View / All" selected, in order to
see the little "bubbles" that indicate hard spaces on your
screen.
