Unexpand folders list

I have upgraded from Win 98SE to XP Home and imported my folders. All OK
except that the Folders list is now permanently expanded (was not expanded
under Win 98). How do I compress the folders list (to show only Inbox,
Outbox, Sent Items, Deleted Items etc) until I click on a "+"?

Are your folders subfolders of one of those default folders or are they on
the same level?

Brian, Folders are at the same level; problem solved:- Tools | Options |
General & unchecked "Automatically display folders with unread mesages"
