All that I want to do is email Microsoft's customer support people to ask a
question. One that would probably lead to me purchasing a bit of kit... Just
how many people do you have in the team working on how to make it totally
IMPOSSIBLE (well, obviously not quite impossible if somebody actually gets to
read this missive) to contact Microsoft?!

I'm slowly going not only grey, but balding at a rate...

Please, all I want to know is how I can find Picture Manager on my new Dell
comp or where the */?! I can can find it to download on your God awful
unfriendly, obstacle-laden website...

This is a user-to-user forum for Microsoft Access, a relational database
program. Those who post here do not work for Microsoft, nor do we have any
influence over Microsoft's policies, present or future. Often we help each
other find ways around the program's built-in frustrations.
If you have a new Dell computer, try using their technical support for your
questions. That was part of what you bought for the price of the computer.

Dell sells an OEM copy of Windows. Part of the license for getting the OEM
price for Windows is that the OEM is responsible for the tech support. What
this means is that you're supposed to contact Dell.

However, Microsoft does still supply a way for you to ask questions. These
user newsgroups are one method and you'll usually find someone who knows the
answer. The groups are broken down by topics and languages. If no language
is specified (i.e. es for Spanish or Español), it is an English language
group. The group you are currently in is for the Access Database program
that is part of Microsoft Office Professional. For questions about Windows,
please scroll down the alphabetical listing of newsgroups to find a
newsgroup for your version of Windows. Once you get there, the Windows
groups will be broken down into subtopics, such as
microsoft.public.windowsxp.games or microsoft.public.windowsxp.photos.
