Ungrouping EMF file causes shapes to be distorted.

Hi, exported a shapefile from Arcmap as a .emf and then imported it
into Excel. when I try to ungroup it, all the shapes don't fit
together anymore, they all shift a little bit. does anybody know why
it's doing this?
