Just upgraded to 2003 are their any advantages? /disadvantages to using the
new pst format that I should be aware of

The new pst format cannot be read by earlier versions of Outlook. Outside
of that the advantages are...

1) Unicode support
2) Increased storage (20GB soft limit, but depending on format of drive your
mileage will vary)
