Hi -

My work group all has single copies of Office 2004. I need to update them soon so they can read/write to the new XML Office formats like .docx and .xlsx. The point releases they have are all over the place from 11.35 to 11.40. It would take longer if I had to update using each point release offered at Mactopia rather than just one that had all been combinded.

Does Microsoft offer a combined Office 2004 update which will include all point release prior to 11.50?

Hmmm, they had originally posted it required 11.5.0. After checking out the
like, I see there is confusing info on the page.

1) Additionally, the Microsoft Office 2004 11.5.0 Update must be installed
on the computer before you install the Office 2004 for Mac 11.5.1 Update.

2) This update includes all the improvements that were released in previous
Office 2004 updates. For more information, click the following article

953824 Description of the Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac 11.5.0 Update

Download Size: 14.5 MB for 11.5.1
Download Size: 59.2 MB for 11.5.0

My conclusion is 11.5.1 is not a combo.

My Mistake - 11.5.0 *is* required in order to apply the 11.5.1 update...

Yeah - you're right...

I missed the small print %-} Although for the life of me I can't understand
why - the list of what's included from previous releases is identical *and*
11.5.0 is included in 11.5.1 according to the KB.

I believe the KB needs correcting. I've reported it.
