Uniinstalling Office 2002 after installing Office 2007

I am running Windows XP Pro. Recently installed Office 2007 Enterprise and
want to uniinstall Office 2002. However when I attempt to uninstall 2002 from
the control panel I get a message "The installion source for this product is
not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can access it."
I have the original source disk and attempted to reinstall 2002. When I did
this, it did some preliminary installation process and indicated the
installation was complete. However, when I went back to uninstall 2002, I
still get the same message. Thanks for your help.
