Anyone having trouble like this.. I can't uninstall 2007b2. When I try
from add/remove it leaves it on computer and when I restart I have trouble
with windows installer starting all over and over again, crashing win
explorer, so the only solution seems to be restoring to an earlier time. Also
I must say 2007is on different partition than parallel installed office 2003
and it seems to be working fine, but still, I installed this beta only
because of curiosity and would like to get rid of it.

Hi cHizzo,

Are you saying that Office 2007 is still listed and accessible through Add/Remove Programs in the Windws control panel?

Are you logged in as administrator?

Are you getting a specific error message?

Did you use any 3rd party registry cleaners?

You may want to check in the office log files setup(xxxxx).log on that partition by using Start=>Run and typing
%temp%
to see if it shows any errors or problems encountered and post back.

Generally, you shouldn't need to reformat.

yes, it is listed.

no, except as I said I get that Windows Installer popping out all over and
over again when I restart after trying to remove 2007beta2.

sometimes using registry mechanic /if you mean that by 3rd party/, usually I
use TuneUp registry cleaner, since it hasn't done anything dangerous in the
past.

can't find that on my partition where office2007 is installed /even looked
hidden folders/, only on my default partition

thanks Bob anyway!
